Below are some of the most frequently asked questions and answers to what people should know about employment with Riiser Fuels, LLC and R-Store.

Can I choose the store I work in?

Employment is based on store openings. Every effort will be made to assign you to a location that is reasonably close to where you live or work.

Will I have to work weekends and holidays?

Yes, R-Stores are always open and that means most team members will work on weekends. Most stores have a weekend rotation schedule which means that if the store if fully staffed, associates may be scheduled off on some weekends or every other weekend. R-Stores are open on all holidays; however, the stores do have reduced hours during the Holiday season.

How often do we get paid?

Team Members are paid on a bi-weekly basis and direct deposit is required.

Are associates eligible for promotions?

Yes, R-Store has a tradition and history of promoting from within when qualifications meet the job requirements.

How long does it take to be promoted?

Promotions/transfer timing depends on your performance and available positions.

What do I have to do to be promoted?

A number of factors are evaluated including demonstrated employment performance, customer service, attendance, leadership skills and cash accuracy.

Will I get a lunch break?

Team members receive breaks throughout their shifts and have learned to eat on the run. There is usually time to grab something to eat as long as you don’t wait on customers while eating.

Does R-Store have a dress code?

Yes, R-Store has a dress code including uniform shirts and jeans in good condition, meaning no holes or fraying are allowed. All team members must wear a nametag and must be clean and neat.

What does the job require?

The job is physically demanding, requiring you to be on your feet up to 9 hours a day. Regular and predictable attendance is a must since the store relies on you to have the store ready for customers and peak sales periods. R-Store’s customer service standards are extremely high. Maintaining stores to our standards means doing repetitive and routine tasks, including some of which you may not like such as picking up trash in the parking lot, sweeping floors and parking lot, mopping floors, emptying trash, cleaning restrooms, and working in walk-in coolers/freezers. All team members are required to complete tasks throughout their shift.
