Training begins on the first day on the job. R-Store provides on the job training and the opportunity for associate to reach their full potential and goals with the hands on training that is provided.
Orientation training is important as it introduces the company’s mission, goals, expectations, and all the information a new associate will need to be successful in the job. New associates will receive hands on training as well as participate in a computer-led training/orientation program. A trainer will work side-by-side with the new team member in the store for the first 5-days or 40 hours. This one-on-one, on the job training has proven to be very effective in preparing the new team member for successful employment.
Training is ongoing and continues throughout every team member’s career with Riiser Energy and R-Store. The ongoing training may include one-on-one meetings, store meetings, seminars and/or web based training. Training is expected to continually improve skills and abilities as well as train and support other team members.
